Flores is one of the Lesser Sunda Islands, a group of islands in the eastern half of Indonesia. Unlike most islands in the Indonesian archipelago, the modern name Flores was given by the Portuguese, from Cabo das Flores (Cape of Flowers), the Portuguese term for the eastern part of the island.

This mask, made of jackfruit wood, is the representation as a symbol of the face with a mouth of their God. This is commonly used in the beliefs of prosperity and luck.

All pieces are traditionally handcrafted which is why no two pieces are the same. Each has a slight difference in size, shape and/or color contributing to the uniqueness and originality of each beautiful piece.

This beautiful piece measures 11 cm in length, 8 cm in width and 26 cm in height - inclusive of the stand.
