A heirloom piece with great significance on the island of Sumba, the Mamuli Statue is a symbol of fertility in the Sumba tribe. With ancestral origins, the Mamuli statue, which is made of wood, is an heirloom and passed on from generation to generation.
All pieces are traditionally handcrafted which is why no two pieces are the same. Each has a slight difference in size, shape and/or color contributing to the uniqueness and originality of each beautiful piece.
